Firefly Hawthorn Blouse

I am so in love whit this pattern!
The Hawthorn Blouse has such a figureflattering shape.
I bought 2.5 meter of quilting fabric  on sale at my local quilt shop.
I fell in love whit this fabric when I saw it a few years ago, but never thought
that I would be wearing it my self.
But hey! What do you know!
For this blouse, i drafted the pattern for the 3/4 sleeves.
And I even made cuffs! Thats one more thing to add to my "for the first time"-list.

Offcourse, after the whole day at the office, its all wrinkeled up.

The cuffs! Unfortunately, a bad picture of the details....

I really like the colors off the fabric,  but at the same time I'm a little hesitant about the fact that this is a look that suits me? You know, colors? Haha... I am a sort of a black/white, earthy toned type.

  1. Looks great! I love the fabric.

  2. Very nice and a cute fabric! I think it would also look great with a belt!

  3. Thank You all:D I must say, the fabric has "grown" on me. And great idea whit the belt! I have one in brown. Think that would look great:) I always use my Hawthorn dress whit a belt to:)

  4. Nice blouse :-)
    Have a great week end

  5. Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous! And you have now convinced me to buy this pattern...

    1. Thank you for that very nice comment! Yes, it is truly a wonderfull pattern! I never regretted buying it! ;)

  6. I've just discovered your blog and I love this top! The fabric is great and it does suit you. I'm not tempted by the Hawthorn dress, but the shirt version looks really nice. :)
